Fighting to unfund planned parenthood
(Column ~ 08/22/15)
By now, you have probably seen the disturbing undercover videos that show Planned Parenthood executives discussing how they sell body parts of unborn babies. It sickened and troubled me to hear administrators talking so callously about the dismemberment of babies - valuable, precious lives taken too soon. The videos were vile, and Planned Parenthood's actions potentially violate federal law...

Speak Out 8/22/15
(Opinion ~ 08/22/15)
Muslims and gun owners We are advised to not judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics. But we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. Welfare and Social Security Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare running out of money? Dexter's depth to help title defense
(High School Sports ~ 08/22/15)
Dexter volleyball coach Carmen Morgan has hardly ever had a strong bench. The Lady Bearcats will sport that and more as they try to defend their MSHSAA Class 3 District 1 title. "I think we are maybe a more well-rounded team as far as the whole makeup of the team," Morgan said. "At any point in time, we could possibly have four, maybe five sophomores out on the floor. So that is young, and with that comes a lot of what I call 'emotional immaturity' more than playing immaturity for them."...
