Burned former sheriff's home Ellsinore man is going to prison

Accompanied by his attorney, Steve Lynxwiler with the Public Defender's Office, Gary Wayne Bender, aka "Goober," appeared for sentencing before Presiding Circuit Judge Michael Pritchett nearly three years after he pleaded guilty to multiple felonies in connection to an investigation into the alleged wrongdoings committed while Adams was sheriff.. ...
