Governor Parson this week launched his 2020 election campaign. I am pleased he is running, because Missouri is already benefiting from his leadership. Since taking office last year, tens of thousands of jobs have been created and wages are rising. He has signed an income tax cut, enacted a $1 billion infrastructure improvement plan with no tax increase, and eliminated hundreds of unnecessary bureaucratic positions. ...

Poplar Bluff Police Kevin James MeCleod, 47, of the 800 block of Cedar Street reported hearing three gun shots outside his house on the evening of Friday, Sept. 13. According to the report, Mecleod told officers he was woken up by what sounded like three gun shots right in front of his residence. His wife reported hearing five.
