A 30-year-old Poplar Bluff man died of injuries sustained from a one vehicle crash at 8:15 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, on Highway 21 about one mile north from Route NN. Poplar Bluff City Council members received some good news in the form of a grant for the city’s 911 system on the night they voted 5-1 to enact a hiring freeze and other cuts needed to balance the 2020 budget.
