The current proposal from the House Transportation Committee would raise the tax by 12.5 cents during the next five years, resulting in a tax of 29.5 cents per gallon. A.D. Clack, age 90, of Broseley, Missouri, died Friday, April 30, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mr. Clack was born December 28, 1930, in Gideon, Missouri, son of the late Thomas and Stella Clack. Mr. Clack lived at Broseley from 1940 to 1950. He moved to St. Louis and worked for the Brotherhood of Teamsters Union Local 600 for 36 years. After retiring, he moved back to Broseley in 1986.
