Union Pacific Railroad’s historic steam engine 4014 is scheduled to arrive in Poplar Bluff Friday afternoon (see sidebar story for local information). This “Big Boy,” called the world’s largest and most powerful operating steam engine, is 132 feet long with a height of 17 feet and weighs 1,200,000 pounds (600 tons).
