PBHS Student Council named Missouri Special Olympics School of Character

Poplar Bluff High School Student Council (StuCo) was the only recipient in the state to earn the award of merit in the Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) School of Character program for working to create an environment of inclusion. Stoddard County man sentenced to 24 years for abuse case involving 11-year-old child

BLOOMFIELD — A Stoddard County man was sentenced Wednesday to 24 years in prison after pleading guilty to first degree statutory sodomy. Bobby Riddell of Bernie was sentenced by Circuit Court Judge Robert N. Mayer.
