The Parks and Recreation Department is overseeing Earth Day events around Poplar Bluff Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday’s event is a DIY Tiki Torch class at King David’s Winery from 4-5:30 p.m. Participation is $5 per person and attendees will learn how to turn a wine bottle into chic outdoor lighting. Rain or shine, the 43rd annual Old Greenville Rendezvous will be Saturday and Sunday at the Old Greenville Recreation area. Admission is free.
