William “Eddie” Wilcox, 64, of Qulin, Missouri, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Wilcox was born Sept. 30, 1957, in Poplar Bluff to the late Warren C. and Billie Jo Wilcox. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Eddie loved his family and he loved people. An electric vehicle (EV) charging station is giving juice to cars and the local economy, according to Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce president Steve Halter. “Until now, visitors have not had an option for an EV charging station in Poplar Bluff.
