A Poplar Bluff man was apprehended early Thursday morning after leading Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs and several deputies on a lengthy pursuit. Michael W. Four structure fires battled in Butler County

The State Fire Marshal is investigating one of the four structure fires fought by Butler County firefighters since Monday. Firefighters responded twice Wednesday, Aug. 24, to a home at 411 Garfield St. in Fisk and owned by Gary Lacy, according to reports.
