POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT Jeremy Wethington reported Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 11:52 a.m. a contractor hired to replace his roof stole $2,500 given to him for the purchase of materials. _ Officers responded at 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, to a residence in the 800 block of Kinzer Street for a drug overdose.
