State/federal disaster recovery center opens in Doniphan (Local News ~ 08/21/24)
A joint Disaster Recovery Center opens today in Doniphan to give residents impacted by the late May storms an opportunity to talk face-to-face with disaster recovery specialists. The center is located at the Ripley County Caring Community Partnership building, 209 West Highway St., according to a press release from FEMA. Boat collision on Current River leaves one injured

A Doniphan man was injured on Current River at about 11:30 a.m., Aug. 17 when the boat in which he was a passenger was struck by another boat. The accident reportedly occurred about three miles north of Doniphan.
