Sleep In Heavenly Peace did something amazing Aug. 10. The non-profit built 150 beds for children in need. This past week they began delivering those beds. It’s incredible to think of 150 beds being built from scratch in just a day. Supplies were gathered, planks of wood sanded, and the pieces assembled in stages to create something with the power to change lives. Officers responded Saturday, Aug. 24 to the 100 Block of South 8th Street about stealing. The victim stated he had an AC unit and copper pipes stolen from his residence. _ Officers responded Saturday, Aug. 24 to the 1300 Block of North Westwood Boulevard about threats. Contact was made with the manager who stated she terminated an employee and the employee made threats toward her. Charges were sent to the Butler County Justice Center...
