Rock the Country to return to Poplar Bluff

Rock the Country is returning to Poplar Bluff on May 2-3 next year following the success of the first concert. Kid Rock is confirmed as one of the acts for 2025, according to Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce President Steve Halter. In two weeks, the rest of the acts will be announced.

Annual art show draws in talent, opening reception Sunday

Creatives from across the region submitted artwork to the 71st Annual Juried Art Exhibit, running from Nov. 3-Dec. 29 at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum. While some regular artists were absent this year, MHAM Director Steve Whitworth said an infusion of new talent gave the exhibit more volume overall: 34 artists and 92 submissions.
