Public library expands open hours

Starting this week, Poplar Bluff Library says its doors will be open extra hours at both branches to better serve the community. New open hours at the 318 Main St. branch are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. New open hours for the Dr. Gus T. Officers conducted a traffic stop Monday, Sept. 2, on Fifth Street at Poplar Street for no visible state license plate. The driver could not produce proof of insurance and her vehicle was impounded by Xtreme Towing. The driver was released and given citations.
