Officers responded Tuesday, Sept. 3, to the intersection of South Fifth Street and Park Avenue in reference to an assault that occurred at a business in the 1000 block of South Broadway Street. Lloyd Canady Jr., 38, of Poplar Bluff was arrested for domestic assault. Charges are being sought through the Butler County Prosecutor’s Office.
