We're circling the drain Since it is in the realm of our federal government to levy taxes, and it is within the realm of the states to legalize marijuana is they so choose, here's an idea for our federal government: why don't they levy a tax of say $1,000 an ounce on every step of production for the medical marijuana and the recreational marijuana being sold in these states and then apply those funds directly to our deficit?
