The return of the World Series of Sprint Boat Racing to the United States was not without its drama. Driver Peter Caughey and navigator Shama Putaranui of New Zealand won the Super Boat class with a time of 43.043 seconds. Toby Standley's name wasn't on the list of entrants for the World Series of Sprint Boats race at Brick's Off Road Park. He dug the track, lives on the property and has three sprint boats he could have chosen from, so it wasn't so much of an oversight as, he just didn't have time to get the boat ready...
