St. Francis River benefits from annual cleanup

GREENVILLE — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers cleaned up a seven-mile section of the St. Francis River in Wayne County last week, part of an annual effort to keep the Wappapello Lake project maintained. “This is an important project because it helps clean up our project and our new bosses got to explore some more of our project, while doing something good for the project,” said Pathway intern John Garver, of Greenville, who will start his second year at Three Rivers College in August, studying forestry.. ...
