A Poplar Bluff man was arrested Thursday for failure to register as a sex offender. According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department, Thomas Everett Eskridge, 52, of the 600 block of Cherry failed to report for a 90-day verification. Collision on North Westwood Boulevard on Thursday evening

A two-vehicle collision blocked one lane of traffic going southbound on North Westwood Boulevard at around 4:15 Tuesday evening. One driver was taken in an ambulance and both vehicles were towed. Poplar Bluff police and fire departments responded and had cleared the scene by 4:40.
