Jackson's Ward 2 Alderman Dave Hitt is lauding the efforts on Saturday, Dec. 17, to lay wreaths on veterans' graves at both Russell Heights and Jackson City cemeteries. Two Doniphan High School graduates recently celebrated their advancement at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine during a White Coat ceremony held on Oct. 16. Wyatt Eaton, 2014 DHS graduate, and Erica Payne, 2016 DHS graduate, took part in the ceremony that recognizes their completion of the academic portion of the veterinary program and the beginning of 19 months of clinical, hands-on training.
