Firefighters extinguish scrapyard blaze

At approximately 11:45 a.m. Friday, Poplar Bluff firefighters were dispatched to a passenger vehicle fire in McCoy’s Scrap Processing Co., 635 S. Sixth St. The six firefighters from two stations used 750 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.
