One person shot in Sunday incident

Poplar Bluff police are investigating an incident that left one person shot Sunday. Police were called at 4:23 p.m. in reference to shots fired in the 400 block of Highway 53, according to the report. “Officers contacted a victim with a gunshot wound to the leg,” police report. “The victim was transported by EMS for medical treatment. Leads are being developed on the suspect and the case is currently being investigated.”...
