A joint Disaster Recovery Center opens today in Doniphan to give residents impacted by the late May storms an opportunity to talk face-to-face with disaster recovery specialists. A Doniphan man was injured on Current River at about 11:30 a.m., Aug. 17 when the boat in which he was a passenger was struck by another boat. The accident reportedly occurred about three miles north of Doniphan.
