    Officers responded shortly after 4 a.m. Sept. 24 to the 1900 block of South Broadway in response to a report of a subject that had been shot, Chief of Police Michael McClain said in a press release Saturday morning. On-scene, officers located a male subject who had suffered a gunshot wound to the back, he said. The victim was transported by emergency medical personnel to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center and was later transferred via ground transport to a medical facility in Cape Girardeau...
