A Poplar Bluff man was hospitalized after being struck by a car on the Pine Street bridge Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 1:10 p.m. According to the report from Lt. Officers responded Tuesday, Oct. 29, to a residence in the 1700 block of Sanders Avenue in reference to a dog bite. It was determined that a canine had left a nearby residence, unsupervised, and attacked another canine at another residence. The unsupervised canine was retrieved by the owner, who then left prior to police being called. The owner of the canine was identified. Charges are being sought through the Poplar Bluff Municipal Prosecutor’s Office...
